What is eject feature in pendrive.

Eject is a feature which many of us know but not in laptop or pc

But in cd/dvd player to take the cd or dvd out of the cd/dvd player. But for laptop or pc we are only pluging the pendrive outside only right. So why we need this eject feature in windows. Ok i will expand why we need eject features for pendrive for windows.

For example we are now downloading a game or app exe from online and we are transferring the file for pc to pendrive. So after it reaches exactly 100% many of us will remove the pen drive without waiting for atleast 5 seconds.so some of its files will be in ram as cache files.so the files will be lost. So only there is a option called as eject. Which ensures that alfiles are moved to pendrive if not it will be moved and we will recieve a notification called as safe to remove.
